Mental Health Awareness Concert 2021
This event was my first as PSNM’s President. We raised over $4,000 at the event itself, all of which will be put toward future programming due to prior sponsorships supporting the event itself. Attendance was over 800 people, and we were able to reach an even larger audience through our event page and online presence.
Mental Health Awareness Concert 2019
As an intern with PSNM, I learned a lot about how to run a nonprofit organization. This opportunity inspired me to consider new ways in which PSNM could benefit the Johnston, Iowa community, which eventually led to my position as President.
Other Initiatives
As PSNM’s President, I am responsible for ensuring that all of our initiatives are carried out effectively. Every year, we sponsor suicide prevention training for local high schools and offer an internship to high school seniors intending to pursue careers in mental health related fields.
